Three traditional residence halls and two apartment-style complexes offer excellent on-campus living and residence-life opportunities. Living-learning communities bring together students from the same academic major in campus housing to increase student success. The 96,000- square-foot Student Recreation Center is within easy walking distance of the residence halls. The Paul Meek Library helps students locate and evaluate scholarly information sources. Overlooking the central quad, the library includes comfortable study spaces, including a 24/7 area supporting students' computing, printing, and afterhours dining needs. The Boling University Center features a modern dining hall, coffee shop, the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, a food court, a game room, a new egaming room, student life offices, and the Nunnelly Family Welcome Center. The new Latimer-Smith Engineering and Science Building houses the university's STEM programs. In addition to the Martin campus, five regional centers and a new location at Volunteer State Community College Springfield offer degree programs, courses, and personal development opportunities to those who want to attend college close to home. Our Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation Program UT Martin is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I and the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC).
