About this Publication ............................................................................................ The Tennessee College Guide and the Tennessee Career Guide are educational re- sources developed to assist students and their parents as they begin to make decisions about their future. The Guides are developed in partner- ships with local school sys- tems and provided at no cost for use and distribution through individual schools’ guidance departments and other sources. The purpose of the Guides is to create comprehensive resources to provide students with a complete overview of all available post-secondary options in Tennessee as well as an introduction to some of Tennessee’s top careers and companies. The project is a collaborative effort made possible through partnerships with local school systems, colleges, state agencies, professional associations, and the corporate community. Colleges, associations, and companies provide the majority of the project funding through the purchase of space within the Guides. These funds provide for the digital flipbook production costs, online hosting and physical printing costs. Editorial content and other information is provided through partnerships with various state educational agencies, colleges and members of the corporate community. It is only through these comprehensive and extensive partnerships that the Tennessee College Guide and Tennessee Career Guide have realized such amazing success, serving as the only resources of their kind for use within Tennessee’s school systems. The Guides currently impact tens of thousands of students across the state and are available for use by school districts at no cost. The publishers wish to thank the contributors and sponsors for their partnership, direction and vision in helping these publications achieve success. School sytems wishing to utilize these resources may contact the publishers for more information. It is a privilege and honor to provide these valuable resources to the stu- dents across Tennessee seeking to assist them in reaching their maximum success in life.
