Who We Are: Chattanooga State is a regionally accredited, comprehensive community college in the College System of Tennessee, offering short-term industry- recognized credentials, one-year technical diplomas, two-year degrees, and transfer pathways to four-year colleges and universities. ChattState is home to the Wacker Institute, three high schools—Collegiate High, STEM and Polytech—and the Global Center for Digital Innovation, a partnership with Hamilton County Schools. Graduate Tuition-free: HOPE and Tennessee Promise Scholarships for entering freshmen, Tennessee Reconnect Grant for adults, and the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Grant help students graduate free of tuition debt.
